GaL-AA wishes you all a sober Holiday season Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christmas, Festivus and any other celebration you have this time of year. This time of year is stressful for many alcoholics, so first things first! Remember to have a second plan (plan B) for the holiday parties, family and friends get together whatever you’re doing.
The GaL- AA Executive Committee will be meeting at the 14th Annual Austin Roundup the weekend of February 6th 7th 8th & 9th at the Omni Austin Hotel to work on many items such as the 2015 AA world convention in Atlanta, Web site design, Meeting Lists, Roundups, Loner out reach, Jails and institutions, News Letters and events. As the day progresses the GAL-AA committee is converging on Akron, Ohio. We are coming from Massachusetts, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Texas, and Ohio. I must say the entertainment committee went over the top for this year’s Southeastern Massachusetts Roundup Cabaret. It was an evening of fabulous fun, fashion and fierce showmanship. Committee Member, Gary C, spoke at the South Eastern Mass Round-Up. Gary was amazed he only needed to speak for 15 minutes and spoke on the theme of this years Round-Up, Expect Mircles. Several members of GaL-AA are at the Round-Up this weekend and are enjoying the many workshops and fellowship and food. There are about 350 people attending the Round-Up
