Gays and Lesbians in Alcoholics Anonymous
pronounced gay・la or gah・luh

Statement of Inclusion

GaL-AA (Gays and Lesbians in AA) was established to serve and have the involvement of lesbians, gay men, and others in Alcoholics Anonymous, regardless of how they choose to identify themselves. In selecting the name, careful consideration was given to a variety of combinations. While the name only directly reflects gays and lesbians, we embrace all LGBT+ members of the AA fellowship.

Houston Roundup

November 28 - December 1

2019_HRU_TempLogo-01-e1548631783951

Houston Roundup is in its 38th year.

We are an LGBTQ+ and allies recovery conference originally founded by members of Lambda Houston, and we are grateful to continue this long relationship with Lambda Center by holding many of our events at Lambda Center and having a committee made up of Lambda Houston members.

Houston Roundup is the nation’s 3rd longest-running LGBTQ+ recovery conference. A not-for-profit organization, Houston Roundup’s mission is to provide a welcoming, enriching and empowering annual conference to members of the LGBTQ+ community who are in a program of recovery. This year’s theme is The Road of Happy Destiny. The 38th Annual Houston Roundup will take place November 28th to December 1st.

Our conference takes place each year throughout Thanksgiving Weekend, kicking off with the annual Gratitude Luncheon at Lambda. By attending Houston Roundup, you can expect a weekend full of unity, service, and recovery.
