Statement of Inclusion

GaL-AA (Gays and Lesbians in AA) was established to serve and have the involvement of lesbians, gay men, and others in Alcoholics Anonymous, regardless of how they choose to identify themselves. In selecting the name, careful consideration was given to a variety of combinations. While the name only directly reflects gays and lesbians, we embrace all LGBT+ members of the AA fellowship.

Welcome


Celebrate Sobriety is an annual event hosted by gay, lesbian, bisexual,  transgender and queer members of Alcoholics Anonymous in beautiful  Vancouver, BC, Canada!   With participation from Al-Anon, the LGBTQ Fellowship of Vancouver welcomes A.A. LGBTQ members from around the globe for whom our Vancouver ocean-front home is an inspiration and a safe space.
Please join us!  Together we will celebrate our collective and individual experiences, strengths and hopes.  We will find A New Freedom over this weekend of workshops, fellowship, speakers and fun!
Friends, families, partners, everyone . . . you are all welcome!
